CAMLESS ENGINE

PATENTED

Using the Disk Sensor to Control Fuel Injection and Ignition Timing

The Disk Sensor has the ability to provide to the engine computer the timing intervals for the ignition and fuel injection systems utilizing the magnetic/digital media and read/write headsr. The engine computer previously used the camshaft position sensor, crankshaft sensor or ignition module pickup to time the injectors and spark ignition.

Since the camless engine has no camshaft position sensor or distributor pick up, the Disk Sensor was introduced to provide the missing signals. The signals come from the disk tracks to increase the camless engine computers performance by relieving the engine computer of having to control the valve output completely and allowing the engine computer to use its processing power more effectively, less the “complete” valve function. The Disk Sensor can save your company significant amounts of time and money while increasing reliability and reducing packaging.
